What We Do

Within Operations, Data Services and Support, we are dedicated to providing robust support across three key domains:

1. Enterprise Systems Support (ESS): We specialize in immediate assistance and troubleshooting for business applications, ensuring seamless user experiences. Additionally, we prioritize user education and access provisioning, equipping our users with the knowledge and resources needed to leverage enterprise systems effectively.

2. Platform Operations & Integrations: Our Platform Operations & Integrations team focuses on managing the core infrastructure that supports university systems, ensuring reliability and scalability. By implementing automation and modern release management practices, we optimize development, testing, and deployment workflows while maintaining robust security and compliance.

  • System and Platform Operations: Manage infrastructure and services that support enterprise applications and data integrations.
  • Integration and Application Support: Provide Tier 2 support for key systems and integrations, including issue investigation and coordination with development or vendor teams.
  • Application Administration: Support and maintain enterprise document management, workflow, and other business-critical applications, ensuring secure access and day-to-day functionality.
  • Deployment and Automation: Maintain deployment pipelines and automated processes to streamline changes and updates.
  • Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor systems and integrations, respond to incidents, and coordinate resolution with partners.
  • Support Coordination: Triage incoming requests, manage support queues, and route issues to appropriate technical teams.

3. Data Management: Our Data Management team enables reliable, structured data delivery to support reporting, analysis, and operational decision-making across campus. The team focuses on data architecture, integration workflows, and reporting enablement for financial and administrative systems.

  • Data Integration and Operations: Develop, monitor, and maintain data pipelines to support the movement and transformation of data between systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Data Mart Delivery: Design and implement curated data marts to support department-specific reporting, dashboards, and internal data needs, governed through an intake and review process.
  • Reporting Enablement: Partner with reporting teams and departments to support the development and delivery of centralized and departmental reports that enhance insight and usability.
  • Data Architecture and Workflow Automation: Architect and optimize structured data flows and batch processes that support long-term analytics and operational reporting strategies.
  • Data Security and Governance: Support compliance with data policies by managing secure access, supporting governance practices, and helping ensure responsible use of administrative data.
