How to use TeamViewer

What is TeamViewer?

TeamViewer is software used for Internet-based remote access and support.  TeamViewer allows our IT support team to connect and control our client’s computers as if we were sitting in front of them.  TeamViewer is very useful when you need assistance.  Rest assured, your remote session is secure because it is done over an "https://" secure connection.

You should already have TeamViewer installed on your computer. You can find the icon in your computer system tray.  The system tray is located in the task bar, usually at the bottom next to the clock and contains miniature icons for easy access to system functions.

To open TeamViewer click on its icon in the system tray.  You may need to first click on the up arrow to view all mini icons in the system tray.
