Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Scholarship Program
From 2024-2026, Provost-supported scholarship funding helped expand UC Davis's Culture of Continuous Improvement by increasing staff access to Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training.
Over the two-year commitment, scholarship funding supported 89 UC Davis employees across 13 organizations, representing a significant investment in professional development. Recipients completed project-focused training designed to strengthen process improvement capability and deliver meaningful benefits to the university.
The Provost's two-year scholarship commitment has now concluded with the final investment in spring 2026. While new scholarship applications are no longer being accepted, UC Davis employees may continue to enroll in the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program through UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education using departmental funding.
