Use DocuSign Directly From Outlook or Box
Skip the Download: Use DocuSign Directly From Outlook or Box
If your usual DocuSign routine involves downloading a document, saving it somewhere, uploading it to DocuSign and then tracking down the signed copy later, there may be an easier way.
UC Davis staff with a DocuSign license can access DocuSign directly from Microsoft Outlook or Box.com. New instructions walk you through these shortcuts step by step.
These options can cut out a few repetitive steps, reduce the number of duplicate files on your computer and make completed documents easier to find. It may only save a minute or two each time, but those minutes add up.
The integrations are available to users who already have a UC Davis DocuSign license and cannot be used with DocuSign templates. If you log in and only see the “UC Davis Main” account, email FOA’s DocuSign team for assistance.

Use DocuSign From Outlook
The DocuSign add-in lets you work with documents directly from Outlook. You can sign an attachment and email it back to the requester, or send a document to one or more recipients for their signatures—all without saving the file to your computer first.

Send a Document for Signature From Box
The Box integration lets you send a stored document directly to DocuSign. Select the file, choose who needs to take action and specify where the completed document should be saved. Once everyone has finished, the signed version returns to the Box folder you selected.
